Pod filter recomendation, or advice?
I ordered my aftermarket exhaust, and think I should be planning on what to do about the air filter. On my TBR7 the carburetor is mounted at an angle, and the rubber tubing running between the carburetor, and airbox makes a bend, and the result is the tube being partially collapsed. If I thought it would still flow enough as is, I would leave it be, but I don't know if it will or not. My plan was a pod filter, but it looks ad though one may not clear the plastic side panel. Is there a particular filter any of you can recommend? Or any advise on the stock airbox?
Thanks |

That's a good Idea. I may be able to do something like that. Thanks

Even simpler solution if the tube is just collapsed from being kinked after they installed it. Put zip ties around the outside to pinch it back into a more open shape. It works rather well

Thanks Dan ! I appreciate it. I thought that the frames were probably identical in the Chinese 250/230 dual sport bikes, but I am sure that on my Brozz the carb mounted inline to the bike, and not angled to the side because of the frame. I like this bike, but the Brozz was a better bike, but I think I got a lot of value for the money on this bike. The guy I got it from bought it new during late Winter, and I got it for $1,300, It had 425 showing on the odometer,an Ohio BMV title, and the guy ad already re-jetted it , and had put on a 39/17 sprocket set. He did good rejetting it, because it runs good, but I didn't like that tall of gearing, so I put the 46 back on, and am running it with the 17, which is pretty low, but not too bad. I don't need to ever run about 55, and even then it's not for long at a time.
