Barstow to Vegas on a Trail 90!

How cool!

The little antique Hondas suffered greatly but a couple of them made it. :P

Splash of fuel is all that was needed. Those bikes were never intended to be thrashed in the desert at high speed. (20mph)

I can so picture us Chinariders doing something like that!

Maybe an old Trail 90 with a new Lifan 110-125cc engine and the toughest tires and tubes that can be found. Take it slow and good to go!

I think they were pushing them too hard and that is why the engine problems.

They would have to average 20mph or more unless they wanted to ride all night.

I agree with the people who said they were crazy! However, I bet my Zong could have made the trip much more easily. Thanks for posting the great link, Doc!

You're welcome.

I love the idea of small bikes and big trips. :P

Yeah I know I have a Gold Wing but you know what I mean.

Sometimes I think about taking Little Sweetie far, but I think I'll respect her advanced age and keep it local on her. 8)

I love the little Hondas! If you rode them within their design parameters they would pretty well last forever! Still kicking my butt I never bought that 90 a year or so ago for $650, the low range was cool! 8)

I have been thinking of the Baja 250 (yes, the shortest one) on a Chinese bike. Not competitively, but to finish

It could be done. Tires, tubes, spare CDI's and other basic parts, a lot of duct tape and you're good to go!
