CF Moto 50hp Sportbike

CF Moto will be bringing a small sportbike competitor to the States soon. Looks like it is aimed directly at the Ninja 400. More at the link.

A vertical twin is lots of fun. Especially these newer high rpm bikes. And six speeds!!

Imagine how much fun that bike will be in the Twisties.

I have heard both good and bad about CF Moto. Granted most of the bad stems from the dealer that had it here. The good being from a cousin who was a rep for the brand. Not sure if he still is though been awhile since i have spoken to him. Anyways...Like i said most of the issues seemed to be dealer level which does not surprise me given how they kept the line up hidden in the back of the showroom like an unwanted step child while having it full of BRP and KTM. Now if i am not mistaken in the transition to new management i believe KTM dropped said dealer now as well so all they have is BRP and maybe Mahindra.

Man, if the chassis can handle it, that could be a ninja 400 killer. Definitely need to see some track tests and long term reliability. It's almost at the ninja 400 price, anyway.

Exactly what I was thinking-it’s ninja 400 money so why get this?

The Kawasaki dealer will add another $1500 in fees before you get out the door (if you can find a Ninja 400 in the showroom).

If they drop the price about $500 it will be a real contender. At this price tho, just get a jap bike.
They need to cut margins for a few more years before they go toe to toe with the jap brands in the USA

I'm patiently waiting for them to bring their 200hp 1000cc V4 to market. My curiosity is piqued.
