Front wheel bearings and real axle carrier bearings
Just getting prepared for an eventual failure. Anyone had any issues with them on the ATA-250D or Rhino 250? What did you go with?
I should have recorded the sizes when I assembled it and took the axle out for the new sprocket, but didn't think about it at the time. I want to have some bearings on hand in advance just in case. Also, anyone have advice for rock tires that are best for west Texas thorns and cactus? Which Slime or sealants do you use? Anyone use tire balls before? Or Closed cell foam product if it exists? |

I changed the rear axle bearings on my 200 Beast quad, just because the stockers were junk. I used a Japanese sealed bearing from the local bearing shop, but I can't recall what the brand was. I also installed a zerk in the carrier, so I could fill the space between the bearings with grease. The only purpose is to displace water during creek crossings.
