fuel tank?

So I picked up a used Bashan Enforcer today. Bike needs some tweaking but I got it for a good price (pissed off the seller, but he took the offer). Unfortunately it has the dreaded fuel leak from the rear seam where the mounting bolt is. It seems, from reading the forum here, this is a common issue with the China bikes. Do any of you know if the Hawk tank is a direct replacement. They're out there for $125, as opposed to paying $40 for a sealing kit. Considering I got the seller to drop $250 off the asking price, I have some leeway, so it might just be better to swap tanks if the difference is only $80 over trying to fix the tank.
