Need help finding a quad for my son.
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and looking for some advice.
I'd like to get my son a 110cc or 125cc sport ATV, but I can't I'm having a hard time swallowing the used market prices or even worse the dealer markups. Is it possible to find a decent quality machine that I can order direct and do final assembly myself? I'm pretty mechanically inclined, I've rebuilt several motorcycle engines in the past. I'm thinking like $1,500 for my budget. I've been researching a lot, but I still haven't been able to determine the best brand/models I should be considering. Thanks in advance for any thoughts! |

My preference would be Taotao only because parts are easy to get.

Yea, I'm leaning toward the Apollo Pentora 125 or the Rival Trailhawk 125. I believe the Rival is made by TaoTao, but I'm not 100% on that.
