Minnesota registration

All you need in Minnesota is the Manufacturers Certificate of Origin MCO, BILL OF SALE, the engine number whitch is not on the MCO. They give you the forms for DNR registration for off highway motorcycle and another form that declares the dirt bike is road worthy (yes the bike has lights, turn signals, passenger foot pegs......) Thats $24.50 plus sales taxes on the bike. You get the road plate and tab for 1 year and off highway motorcycle for 3 years.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully this will help other Minnesotans.

So where is the engine number? I know on the engine but did you just need to write it down?

Seriously where on the engine is this number.

Engine number

The engine number is behind the gear shift. You dont have to have it but they will ask for it and its a great idea to have it on record.
