No coolant in radiator head gasket replacement

Has anyone had a stuck closed thermostat? Bike over heated in the middle of nowhere. Ran it hot for about 10 miles before I stopped at small gas station. Thermostat side of radiator was colder than the other side fan didn't kick on, temp was at 120F on radiator but the engine over heated. Wated for it to cool, pulled out the thermostat and boiled it with my porta stove. Thermostat didn't open, ok, well now I need to get home. I cut the spring valve mechanism on the Thermostat and left the gasket bit. I poured some coolant in. The bike didn't overheat for many months. This morning the bike over heated. No coolant in the system. Oil didn't look milkshake. I poured some more coolant in when the bike cooled, started it up and the coolant is bubbling with the cap off the radiator. So has anyone had to do a head gasket job on their RX4 yet? Just wanted to share my story. 2020 RX4, I bought it new.

Have you tried contacting CSC for instructions? They are usually pretty quick with info.

I been having coolant spray out of my overflow.... I reup it when it does but I worry about headgasket issues....

That's what happened to mine at the very beginning when I recieved my bike. They said flush out the system. It worked for a while, they recommended flushing the system once a year. I honestly wonder how long these engines can last on highway speeds. I live out in the country. Nearest city is an hour ride, 65 mph. 6th gear is gutless for me when there is wind. So on windy days I have to be in 5th gear to keep it at 60 mph, that's putting a lot of heat on the engine. I enjoy my bike, but looking back, I wish I would have waited for the twin inline 450 CF MOTO or CF MOTO twin inline 800.

How's your thermostat? The overflow should have been my first clue that the thermostat was not functioning correctly.

It was working fine when I tested it.

But the radiator was missing a few oz of fluid and I topped it off. It ran fine for a few rides and then sprayed coolant out again.

This coolant issue started at 1800 miles and currently have 3400 miles

You can test for combustion gas in the coolant....blown head gasket will test positive. Amazon has the test kit for about $21. Also look at the radiator cap. It could be letting coolant out at low pressure.
