Your bike was very "controversial" several years ago. T-Motorsports imported Lifan GY-5's directly from Lifan in China (or maybe a distributor, or a subcontractor who made the bikes for Lifan in China, or maybe even a counterfeiter which I doubt), and the existing American Lifan had numerous fits about "unauthorized, gray-market" Lifan GY-5 bikes which were the exact same bike but sold for hundreds less than American Lifan's offerings. T-Motorsports was given a 'cease and desist' letter from American Lifan so they did try to change the name to TMS, but eventually they did stop selling them.

Looks like the same bike as my 2007 Lifan 200 GY5 except with a rear disk brake and non balance shaft engine. Should be a great bike.

Welcome! My bike was virtually identical to yours, until I started modifying it.
