Am getting balance problems and don't want to dump a bike.

Tom, that is the Ace Standard, not the Deluxe. There are a few differences, such as rear disk brakes.\
You did not live in Longmeadow, MA at one time?

We've had discussions here about negative American response to Asian, esp Chinese manufactures. But for the most part, only when it comes to motorcycles. Crate bikes are deliberately abuse in shipment (sick fools).

Cleveland Cyclewerks is a new AMERICAN company. The concept is great.

I am only into off road bikes, but if I wanted a cafe racer or low rider, I'd be right there. I hope this brand survives. Americans need to wake up and either, start making things again, or shut the F**k up.

That's 110% as American as CSC. They don't have unique designs, they just charge 2x as much as the nearest competitor, and even their parts are 2-3x as expensive as Honda originals. There's nothing about this bike, perhaps besides the paint job if that floats your boat, that makes it worth even a cent more than a brand new CSC.

Not trying to be mean, that's just the reality. The only American manufacturer that is using Chinese motors in (mostly) domestically sourced components is Janus. I'd love one of those.

If you really believe that it's American, post the first three digits of the VIN, and we can get down to the bottom of that. Cleveland seems to be such a skeevy company that it wouldn't surprise me if there was some sort of fraud involved.

franque, what does it take out the door for a CSC SG250 these days?

I posted the Ace on FB, and it was $300-500 less than all the other 250's. Got responses with Looooowww ball offers. Figured maybe people thought it was junk, so raised the price.
I had a SG250, and a Wolf Classic, and sold both cuz my balance is going. Got this on a whim to fix & sell. Not ridden more than 2-3 miles. Fixed all the problem areas, and put for sale.
I know this bike is a comparable to the CSC, likely not quite as good quality as far as I can tell. Ok, but nothing special. Cleveworks is out of biz in USA, but may be viable in Indonesia/India/SE Asia. I am not following them.
This bike fires off a lot quicker than the CSC, just one kick in most cases. It is a lot 'rougher', perhaps the tires, which have more of a 'trail' tread. It is a LOT louder, hollow megaphone muffler may cause that. It also seems a lot faster than the SG, though I have not really gone anywhere on it. In all, a pretty nice bike for the price. In case anyone reads this far, I am negotiable on price.
