Side-by-side comparison
I was just thinking it would be cool to have a side-by-side listing of the different brands, like a table with the specs (including shift pattern, sprocket size, etc), dealer, price, any problems, good things, etc.
When I was trying to do research to decide which bike I wanted, there wasn't always enough info available on the web (and Viva's sites are some of the worst for accuracy). Has anyone done this? Is anyone interested? I would be willing to set something up for the 200gy's.

here is a comparision for the lifan vs the jap counterparts.. but there is no comparison chart between gy's... mainly because there arent a ton of differences.. they are all kinda the same, with slight differences.

The GY specs aren't always correct, either. For instance, a couple of years ago when Jetmoto was predominantly an EBAY dealer, and now, with Jetmoto's EBAY brand, Alpine, their chart lists the bike's top speed as 70mph+. As long as Jetmoto's enduros come with a 56 t rear/14 t front sprocket, they will never hit over 55-60 mph stock. (Dmitri, Jetmoto's parts guru told me once that the enduros used to come stock with 46 t rear, but that the public wanted more off-roadability--not sure if I believe that...)

That's exactly why I thought it would be interesting to compile info from actual owners...something for people to refer to when they buy a new or another bike.
Good lord, I need warm weather so I don't think of stuff like this. 8)
