Boom Vader 125

Well I bought this little guy from a kid one month after he purchased it. He had less than 200 miles and had all kinds of carb problems over flow and such. I paid 840$ for it, brought it home and discovered the carb needle and seat needle wasn't installed so after that she's running a decent. I've installed a 17 tooth from sprocket and the 26mm mikuni carb and removed the smog stuff. I'm having some issues with jetting but with the filter off she rips!! And much smoother at speed with the bigger sprocket. I think I need to lean it out quite a bit but I've put about 80 miles on it and am happy with my purchase. Carb, jet kit and sprocket and bike I got about $925 into it. I'll keep posting As the mods come and or any issues. Anyway glad to see this forum!!

So been messing with the carb jetting and air filter. I had to put a much larger air filter on and lean out the main and air screw. I also put an intake index plate on tobetter orient the carb positions. Very happy now 88 main jet. Dropped the needle one notch and turned in the air screw one turn. My 210 lbs ass got up to 58mph on gps a full 12mph faster than stock. The really nice thing is at 50mph it's only running 6500 rpm I'd say $100 well spen on mods

Nice! I really need to get into modding mine. Currently sitting at 350 miles and haven't really touched anything other than the headlight bulb.

Sorry to say - this bike is very, very cheaply made and I have had nothing but issues since I bought it. Carb issues, axle issues, seat issues, now I need to replace the Gas tank. With all the crap I have had to fix or replace, I would be close to buying a Grom.

Sorry, not worth the time spent and patience lost.

That stinks you've had such bad luck with yours. The quality control is def lacking. It seems some get good ones and others end up having a lot of issues.

I have had no luck with these kind of things...do you know where I can find a gas tank replacement, by any chance? I can send you photos if that'll help. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
