TT250 and a TW200 at Bong Rec Area trails

We probably should have aired down our tires... and took the mirrors off... and been better riders... But this was the first legitimate trail I was able to take the TT on, and otherwise was a blast when I wasn't worried about parts shaking off.

I can sympathize with them. I have permanent injuries from previous escapades! Those bikes are loaded up though. Two people to pick up a TW200!? It looks like the guy was pinned. Wow.

I got the opportunity to ride a TW200 in the Spring when I was camping. It didn't take me long to damn near lay it down. It wasn't my bike so I wasn't gonna let it hit the ground if I could help it. I managed to save the fall but barely.

Yea he couldn't get up, luckily only ended up with a nice bruise on his thigh and a sore wrist. It was on a bit of a slope in the slippery mud, so we were both off balance.

Not the stock "death wing" front tire, I think he has a shinko something now, it was one of his first upgrades after learning what the stock one was referred to as.

The regular trails were tricky but not hard, and we learned for the first time that a "challenge loop" isn't exactly designed to be ridden slowly. You either can't get through, or you gun it and try to stay on the line. A lot of it was just a dirt channel a 3-6" below grass, so if you got off just a little, it could throw the bike to the side if you didn't have enough speed.

Nice! Sounds like you had a blast at Bong Rec Area trails, despite a few close calls. First trail ride with the TT250, that's awesome! Yeah, airing down and ditching the mirrors might've made things easier, but hey, you lived and learned, right?
