Hello all. I've been lurking here for a few months as I was researching the RX3 and deciding if I wanted to pull the trigger. I've been riding for a number of years and my first bike was an enduro that spent more time off road than on.
I decided to purchase my RX3 about a month ago and I'm so glad I did! (I got the fast orange model with some options: 19" front tire and knobbies, handguards, center stand, aux lights, and aux power plugs.) I also had them put in 10-weight fork oil after reading Joe's post about the front suspension in the blog. I haven't had too much chance to test this out yet, as I've mostly been on the pavement with the bike thus far. I've been having a blast breaking the bike in and my Shadow is jealous, as I almost have to force myself to take it out for a spin now and again. I'm in OC (California) and I am hopeful that I will meet other local Zongers for some group rides and swapping stories as well as finding the best places nearby to get off the pavement. I saw another RX3 once in my neighborhood (Cypress) but have not seen them since. I'm also planning to join Joe and company for some of the CSC group rides, tech days, etc. and I'm signed up for the Baja ride next March. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here. Mike
