carb screw settings
can you see the threads on your screw? I am just wondering how far they stick out normally. I just took mine apart to clean it so I am not sure

I wouldn't go by threads, but number of turns out. Probably want to start at about 2 turns out.
Turn the screw all the way in until is stops, but don't turn it really tight. Then back it out two complete turns. That should get you a base setting where the bike will start and run. You adjust form there. Allen

Just to clarify that we are talking about the fuel mixture screw and not the idle screw. The idle screw you will see threads.

I would also strongly advise unscrewing the threads and applying locktite and then set them correctly so they do not move from vibration. I would use blue or red.

I wouldnt use locktite. Brass and aluminum with locktite means new parts next time you need to adjust.
