Razz 2020 Vader 125cc

So I'm just making a thread on my personal Gen II Vader (blue) and my girlfriend's (white). I'll try to keep it updated with picture and videos of things that I'm doing to it (Which is a lot lately in the past 2 days!) I work as a paramedic and am on for 24 today, but will start uploading everything tomorrow to show you guys. I think you'll have some fun looking at it. Here is a quick mod list on what I've ordered and where.

Vader 125 (Gen II) Kronik Racing
Ordered 7/21 - Received 9/3 (Covid really slowed it down, but Pete was very helpful with the process and had the MCO in the box on arrival)

$1400 to the door - https://www.kronikracing.com/-Boom-V...10-_p_437.html

Parts list so far (everything listed fits perfect):

Short gear shifter - https://www.amazon.com/Shifter-Alloy...7MXT3DGD&psc=1

Exhaust crush gasket (Needed if you change your muffler) - https://www.amazon.com/1PZ-ERN-M24-E...4373127&sr=8-1

Bar end mirrors - https://www.amazon.com/FTRT-SV650-19...omotive&sr=1-5

Jet kit - https://www.amazon.com/Wingsmoto-Mik...4373165&sr=8-1

16T sprocket - https://www.amazon.com/Wingsmoto-Spr...4373182&sr=8-2

Amazon motorcycle exhaust - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PQ55W56...c-31622697cf62

Legit Honda Grom rear shock - No link because they are all over Ebay in great condition and feel so much better than the stock bounce house one.

Mid Fairing belly pan set - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Grom-...wAAOSwsqdcHiMy

Pro Taper Handlebars - https://www.amazon.com/Pro-Taper-SE-.../dp/B000TYEDFK

Flush mount turning signals - https://www.amazon.com/Honda-1000RR-...50687830&psc=1

VM22 Carb - https://www.amazon.com/Carbhub-Carbu.../dp/B07G915FNB

Short clutch lever - https://www.amazon.com/MZS-Brake-Clu...omotive&sr=1-5

Integrated tail light and fender eliminator kit - https://tstindustries.com/tst-undert...grom-2017.html

**The tail light kit was a bitch finding out what wire goes where, but I will post the wiring diagram too to make it a breeze for anyone doing this in the future! A lot of trial and error but it looks amazing and I feel it is a cheap must have for the bike. Just make sure you buy the 14$ license plate light on the site because the kit didn't come with one.

I'll run through most of the stuff I have on tomorrow in my video and should have everything put together in a few days for a full ride and review out here in bi polar ass Colorado this week. (Supposed to snow on 9/8-9) Everyone stay safe!

I am surprised that Grom exhaust fit , usually the exhaust port angle is different enough so that you have to heat the head pipe with a torch and bend it rather significantly to get a decent fit. The pipes for the DAX or "original" monkey ( not the new released one) will usually bolt right on .

Yeah, it didn't fit up. You're right. My 1st gen Vader had the same problem. I have it at a shop now getting fitted. Should have it Tuesday because of the holiday. Everything else has fit properly.

Give it about 20-30 minutes to upload the better quality resolutions. Shot it in 1440p @ 60.

I changed my seat to this one. fit perfect, no mods and feels great on my back side.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Got this for the EPA pipe blocking plate for the under side of the head.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-E...72.m2749.l2649

I do have to agree with you on the low beam on the head light. It really sucks the big one big time. Have to ride with the high beam on to see at night better. I also added these for night time (auxiliary lighting) and they work nice.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-U1-Moto...72.m2749.l2649

What head light assembly are you referring to for replacement?

thanks much

Carl

Yeah I figured out that damn block off plate was needed for sure so that should be here Wednesday. I really like that seat too! I added it to my Amazon cart now, so I can get it this week for sure. I'm 6.4 so that little hump in the middle of the stock seat makes me have to seat back a little. I'll have to get a flat one this week for sure, but the stock seat isn't bad at all. Here is the stock Gen II Grom headlight. My buddy has one on his Gen II Grom so I know it fits. He said the Brightness is worth it alone and you get the little LED running light strip. Here is the link:

Sure man! Here you go.

Tail Light
TST Blue to Vader Brown (running light)
TST Black to Vader Green (ground)
TST Yellow to Vader yellow with green stripe (Brake)

Turning signals
TST Brown to Vader baby blue (right turn signal)
TST Green to Vader orange (left turn signal)

License plate light (order it as it doesn't come with the kit)
This is the one pictured on the plug.
Green - Ground
Brown - positive

Also, here are some pictures of the new upgraded engine bolts that come with the 2020. Looks like 12.9 grade? If that's true, good for them on changing it! Only time will tell.

Welp...more parts coming. I bought a flat seat as my 6.4 self feels kind of funny on the pointy part of the seat.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also am going to fix the low output of the headlight and retrofit a really good fog light in there, so I'll make sure to keep pictures up to date with that. Here is the ones I bought. Mind you, I'm doing my girl's bike and mine at the same time.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also put the block off plate on the bottom of the engine:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-E...72.m2749.l2649

I also will be the guinea pig on the shorter front forks to go along with the 2.5 inch drop I bought for the back. Here is the link for that:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/FRONT-FORKS...72.m2749.l2649

I'll keep everyone updated on the progress to help people in the future with this bike. I'll be posting a good walk through and riding video tomorrow with the current completed state.

Thanks Bob

At 6-2 I know what you mean about the stock seat. That is why I got the one I linked to you. Very nice seat and you can slide along it to get your favorite riding position.
Wish that darn low beam was brighter. Have not seen the light output of a Honda Groms one to see if that is any better or not.
I also saw the upgraded motor mount bolts on my bike as well.

Carl

Bob
I also installed an oil cooler on mine. Runs about 50-60 degrees cooler when measured on the head and jug.

Oh damn. That's a good idea. Was it easy to install?
