2020 rps hawk broken exhaust. need help asap
I have no clue as to what happened. New 2020 rps hawk with 1334 miles. It's mostly stock other than a nibbi and cat delete.

The only guess I could make if it is the stock header pipe looking like that is that it has been ran in wet conditions a lot. Could it have been extremely hot, and you hit a deep hole fast enough to splash a great deal of cold water up on the pipe?

Looks like a few variables worked together to cause this...
They way it has cracked suggest the bend was under tension. The pipe itself might have been materially flawed and the weak points have given way. Repeated heat cycles with possible wet/damp exhaust wrap might have created a hot/cold zone when moving as the evaporation wind chill effect may of created fatigue. This is potential con of exhaust wraps...it will prove the quality of the exhaust pipe. Solutions: Permanent=replace ($$$), Temporary?=Weld shut (time, tools and materials) |

Exhaust tape keeps the heat from radiating in a normal way out of the pipe. My guess is stress + excessive heat + potential tension in how it was mounted lead to this.

Could I be running it to lean creating extreme exhaust heat? |

That could definitely be a factor, too. Something like this (warning, it's technical) could have happened: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austen...n_carbon-steel
