Changed my mind about Templar

Currently, I am trying to change my layaway at PowersportsMax from the Temp X to the Lifan X-Pect. After carefully reading all of these threads, I decided that I would prefer ease of operation, parts availability, and a 2 year warranty over raw power and off-road capability. Due to the limited source of parts for the Temp X and my poverty, I cannot risk it. I hope they will allow me to transfer my deposit to the Lifan since it is also 200 bucks cheaper at the moment. After flipping and flopping, I have flipped back and hopefully, all the flopping has come to an end.

You can't go wrong with the Lifan. They do have good after sales support and parts. https://kpclubusa.com/collections/mo...roducts/x-pect

That's the nice thing about this forum.. Chinese bikes used to be a full-on gamble, but now we know better and can make educated decisions.. with that being said, what about the Brozz lol

I do like the color schemes I've seen on those. One was like a dark green and the other a desert color. Nice looking bikes! Unfortunately I consulted my Ouija board and it agrees with my decision to get the X-Pect. Then, just on a whim, I also asked my magic 8 ball..and you know what it said? I asked if I should get the Lifan and it said decidedly so...i reckon that makes it a done deal.

The magic 8 ball never lies. I heard that from the Ouija board.

I don't see any advantage of buying this or that. EVERY one of these bikes have a good chance of challenging you. I don't think ANY of them are that less likely to be perfect. Really, look into it, and you will find that even the highly touted Lifan KPR has had significant problems right here on this forum, and it is the most expensive of them all!! I am sure these threads have not been deleted.

You WILL have to work on it, no matter what you buy.

My advice is to buy the model that fits your needs, not the one that is supposed to be better. If you want the 14hp engine, buy it, If you want 19hp, buy it, if you want a "dual sport", buy it, if you want an enduro, buy it.

And then be ready to fix it periodically, adjust valves, replace stuff, and that is the way it will be.

I owned a 2008 Gy-with the same engine. I can do the minor stuff but I am not about modding the bike very much. also..that 12000 mile warranty and Lifan name and parts availability are the main reasons I changed my mind. I don't want to go fast on a 250lb bike, I just want to go...from day one.
