Brammo electric motorcycle spotted!
I saw one of these bikes out today while I was riding the BSA. Talk about opposite ends of the technology spectrum! :P
Not much to report but it is the only electric motorcycle I've ever seen, and it seemed to be moving about 40 MPH. Obviously I heard nothing over the bark of the Beezer. No extention cord but I'm positive it was heading for a plug before the hapless owner/operator had to call his wife to pick him up in the minivan...

They aren't touring bikes, but they are fantastic for commuting.... The Brammo Enertia plus I believe it is called gets up to 80 miles range I believe. My typical daily driving is around 22 kilometers....

I edited my post to be less predjudicial.
I appreciate the technology, but I don't ever see the possibility of such a thing in my stable.

The problem I have with them is the price. It would be nice to commute on I imagine, but a lifan is much more affordable. |
