Shift Indicator Not Working Magician
My shift inidcaor does no work. However, when I turn on the left blinker, a small flashing light appears in the indicator window. I think the arrow in the indicator should blink instead.
I've gone thouigh the wiring and can't seem to find anything amiss. \ Any help is greatly appreaciated. Vince |

Hate to say it, but there ain't much for us to solve. 90% of this is going to need to be found on the bike. A multimeter and some testing.

You might check to verify that the bus connector (probably a sixpack, white plastic connector). The bundle of wires usually comes from above or in front of the front sprocket cover. They are probably in a black plastic tube. This connector typically comes with the engine, has maybe a 12 to 20inch length with the plastic connector at the end. It should connect to the wiring harness about where the carb is, or above.
