TBR7 - Tank cover ideas...?

I removed the plastic tank cover sides, due to not liking their look, and now left with a naked tank. The naked tank look is good, but not liking the metal hooks on the sides. I was wondering, if anyone found a way to cover them, maybe even found a way to attach side bags?

So, ideas? Photos?

Thank you!

I hoped that someone out there made a model that came without the tank plastics so I could just swap tanks, but so far I havent found one. Good luck.

I have seen people grind the hooks off and bondo over the grind marks and sand it flush to make it look perfectly smooth, then prime and paint or vinyl wrap the tank. Not sure you want to go to those lengths, but that would definitely look the best.

Gotta be careful not to grind through the tank, and definitely drain the gas and flush the tank with water beforehand.

not timestamped but this video has similar work done to the gas tank in this scrambler build.
