Honda is calling this motorcycle one of its sport bikes. The Grom is being touted as a commuter bike and "urban assault vehicle." The Honda Grom has a top speed of almost 65 mph, and gets 130 mpg.

My apologies to Weldangrind and MICRider for accidentally deleting your posts in this thread. During editing I accidentally created two posts, then merged them, then accidentally deleted both of them.

It's a modern supermoto version of the old Monkey bike. It's about time that they offered a pint-sized bike with a 125. I bet it's a blast to ride, and I bet it would fit in Doc's plane.

Thank you.
I agree; it looks like a blast to ride. However, it weighs 225 pounds, so I wouldn't want to wrestle it into and out of an airplane. My CRF250X only weighs 254 pounds.

it is like the sachs madass with a bit of fairing - the madass has a 125 version and would be much lighter. but honda have taking it a bit further and i like it. could be a winner and another cult bike in the long term.

Looks like the same old horizontal engine with a few new touches. FI too. That would make a nice commuter.
