Bull 200 169cc problems going into reverse

Brand new, just encountered problem when trying to go into REVERSE. Shifts from N to D perfectly. Has a VVT trans, will not engage to REVERSE. Has anyone had this issue, and if so, how to resolve it?

You may need to adjust the linkage on the shifter. Sometimes if the idle speed is too high it will not shift. Will it go into reverse with the engine off?

tryed adj.linkage many different ways,goes into drive perfectly just problem going in reverse the shifter is but inside trans is not.you can rock it back and forth then it will pop in reverse.

Check the oil level in the transmission. I don't have the Bull but on both my ATV and UTV that have the GY6 engine I replace the gear oil with a synthetic and made it shift much better. My oil level was a little low on both.

tryed with engine off will still not go in reverse. nor will indicator light come on indicator light will come on for neutral or drive.

the manual says 200 ml of oil that doesn't seem like very much gear box oil,i will change and try in. thanks very much

I need to change mine again in my Bull 200,Lucas synthetic is what I'm using.
