How to refill transmission on a 150 dune buggy
I posted this question and the answer I received was that there is a rubber plug half way up the tranny. The only plug that I have has 2 wires coming out of it and when I remove it there is some kind of a sensor in there. I don't want to pull on the center pin in case it breaks. Any suggestions before I flip it over and refill it using the drain plug hole . Help

If you're talking about a GY6 engine, you refill the engine at the dipstick hole on the right side. You refill the gearbox at the rear on the left side (behind the belt cover - not a rubber plug). The gearbox uses gear oil (I chose Castrol Syntec 75W90).
There is no conventional transmission in a GY6. It's a belt-driven centrifugal clutch.

TRANSMISSION
On KINROAD buggys.. they use a gear boix.. there is gear oil in there.. 75-90.. sure the motor uses a cvt to drive the drive for the transmission.. also some of the ZSTARS use the same thing on their 150 B.. like the gio lambo..
