DIY leg protection?

Has anyone ever put fabric or some kind of plastic over the lower crash bars to protect your legs from rain and cold? Was it effective? Got pics?

Charles.

I installed leg guards. It helped a lot. Feet dry and warm. The oncoming air flow no longer blows on them. If you are interested, I will describe the installation procedure.

Cool. I actually ended up getting something from a guy on ADVRider. Beefy aluminum pieces that zip-tie to the crash guards. Pretty happy with them so far, but your idea is very clean and tidy, I like that too.

Charles.
