no longer new or a chinarider
I sold my chinabike.
I can't thank you folks enough for your time and patience, even red. 8) The experience of owning a chinabike was absolutely fantastic, only because of this site. I learned so much, and I rode alot too. Some very long rides. Special thanks to kato, sam, and ambassador. I'll send you my e-mail address so you can write if you want. I'll still lurk, but this is my last thread. :( Frostbite: If you ever come to Toronto, you have a place to stay here. I would be honoured. Thank-you. Not so new to riding; Mike.

Jim:- I'm figuring that MBS is multi-bike Syndrome? And ooh ya I had it, but I got better. If not for the cash, I would have kept the chinabike. My wallet cured my MBS. I'm more worried I have picked up a bad case of Fixit. A terrible disease. As soon as you get your bike perfect, you have no use for it any more. Sam has it I think, but he has been blessed with bikes that need fixing. :P
I intend to lurk and learn. I sold the bike to a guy who has already started lurking. He lives close. In time he'll run into issues, I told him if I was able to help, I would. So I might not be finnished with fixing chinabikes . But I think you can see I've already started posting and typing less. I should have said thanks to az200 and fatboy250, and knothead too oh ya Jim as well. There is just too many to thank by name. I feel like I've just passed another course at school. Man I was green when I got my bike. As long as you folks take the time to type out pearls of bike wisdom, I'm sure to read. Mike |

Yes I was talking about multiple bike syndrome , fixit sounds pretty bad too eh?
I had thought about selling my bike, but I know I will regret it and want it back later so I decided I can't let it go How is your Honda, does it need anything, it looks really good in your gallery.

Ohhhhh yep I need (could use) lots of parts. 72 cb350 G4. But the problem is that they need to be in really good condition to be better than the parts I've got. Fenders, no rust and no pitting, red air box cover with emblem would be the coolest. I had it running and starting off the battery before stripping it down to re-paint the frame. I haven't exhausted all my leads on parts here yet. Hopefully I can get my neighbor to order parts from Ebay, it's the easiest. My spokes aren't shiny and there is a little pitting on the rims but if I put on mirrors, the bike should pass it's safety and be on the road. Winter is coming to Toronto, so I'll have time for tweeking. If all else fails, I'll ask for help. But if you know someone with nice red air box covers, please let me know.

I think posting about a vintage Honda will be okay in the misc forum.
