Doh! Registration Process Hawk 250 Indiana

For those in Indiana wanting to purchase a Hawk for road use.

Must have Complete MCO signed and dated.

Must have a Bill of sale with Make Model VIN and sales price.

since these are purchased from out of state dealers must have
VIN check done either by police or take the bike to BMV for them to inspect.

so far I am on my 3rd trip to BMV to accomplish this task.
also for those that are curious about bike insurance costs mine was $129
for the yr property liability only.

Thanks for letting us know. Perhaps that will help future IN members.

The registration process for the Hawk 250 in Indiana involves several steps. First, ensure you have all necessary documentation, including proof of ownership, proof of identity, and a bill of sale. You’ll need to visit a local Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) office to submit these documents and complete the registration forms. Be prepared to pay the required fees and provide any additional information requested.
