New 200cc/ZS167FML On/off bike
Just bought this one for the wife.
She's happy; I'm happy; bike is happy. Build quality seems good. Engine runs very smooth (It has a counterbalancer). Nice touchs like fuel filling cap (seems identical to the one of my RX3) and grab bars. I would like to know the original maker and model to look up for aditional info about it. Here in Argentina it's sold under various brands, "Corven" (the one we have) Triax, Motomel Skua, probably others. The more common bike seen is the 150, it's the same bike with different engine (most notoriously, not counterbalancer). Regards, Juanro |

WMI https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicl...rer_identifier L** is easier for me trace the name | 8/9**is tricky (i don't reads Spanish)

Knowing that ZS is Zongshen is a clue; the CG200 + balancer is getting me somewhere, at least about the engine. But I'm pretty sure this exact bike exists somewhere else with another name, VIN starts with 8CV wich identifies an Argentina manufacturer, according to the link you provided. This must be because Corven "build" this motorcycle under a tax system (I can't remember the code name for it) where they import the parts, assembly the bike locally and sell them as "made in Argentina".

Looks exactly like the Zongshen CBB200 engine. I know you meant the bike, but I have no clue lol. I just recognize the motor.

Is there a mfg plate on the frame up by the steering head? The date it was manufactured as well as the company should be found on it.

I think the tt250 is 233cc, this one is < 200cc don't recall right now the exact number but somewhere around 180cc. But, could it be same engine with different cylinder and piston; don't know. Juanro |

That DOES look like a TT250! With the LEDS, cool gas cap and balanced motor, etc...
Congrats Juanro! As yhey say, "Happy wife, happy life!"

I thought that it was a TT until I noticed the conventional forks.

Yes, engine size, forks and rear brake (drum vs disc) seems to be the main differences. They sell the "full" or "pro" 250 model here, and it's very much the same as the TT250.
As of now, 50 uneventful kilometers and all is going well. She's practicing a lot and we look forward to go out and ride together. |
