Hanbird Bikes
How do obtain a bike made by Hanbird? Are they distributed in the US by any dealerships?
They have several nice (electric) bikes that I would love to have! They even have various sized electric motors and batteries for more speed or range. HOW DO I GET ONE?!?! |

Email them and see if anyone carries them. I do know the DOT has a special list of approved electric motorcycles (vs. the EPA/DOT list of bikes emission approved, a much more difficult and lengthy process).

I've emailed them twice. I emailed two days ago...no response yet. I have two email addresses and I've emailed both. Nothing.
I'm not sure what else to do at this point. I contacted them through Alibaba.com and got a response, but nothing about sales or distributors in the US. |

Quick update. I did get someone to contact me back. Total cost is $3500 for the high end YTM bike. 80mph top speed, largest battery, etc...however they have to have a 25 day lead time to build it and who knows how long it takes to ship it.

There is a company whose founders were active on the site mychinamoto.com who I used to email back and forth with; the company is called Evoke, but their bikes are around $10k. I followed them from planning to prototype to manufacture, so I am sure their bikes are the real deal, but they had difficulty finding distributors (probably due to wholesale prices), so they deal direct with their bikes. There are several videos on youtube. http://www.evokemotorcycles.com/
This is their US specific site which has prices and ordering information (their Urban Classic is $9k, not $10k; I saved you $1k LOL). https://www.evokemotorcycles.co/

Funny thing about this video is if you look at the comments, a person nicknamed 'HANBIRD IN CHINA' comments a couple times, lol!
