Lifan 200cc very difficult to start. Now won’t idle? Help!

Recently bought this bike for 500$ and the guy had literally put a brand new engine in. Problem is, it’s a hard start and after a 30 minute easy trail ride won’t idle. What are the carb adjustments? How do I make it an easier start and adjusting the choke? Thanks!

1st thing I would do is check valve lash. Valve may be set too tight and need adjustment.
