can some one please tell me what this 3rd screw is

its the top on between the 2 bowl screw holes.. its got a very small top on it, and the screw has a spring..

look at the bottem most jet it goes

main, pilot, and then ? i have no idea what it is...

That is your air/fuel screw, you adjust this to change your mixture at idle, normal is about 1-2 turns out from fully closed, anything over 2-1/2 turns out means you need a bigger pilot jet, less than 3/4 of a turn out and you could go down a pilot jet size.
Normally you would adjust it for a good idle with no hesitation off idle, screwing it in will be leaner and screwing it out will be richer.

u sure cuz the little adjustment screw off to the left side of the carb that is just barely sticking out is the idle adjustment.. i turn that screw and the idle picks up or dies off.

Yep, the idle screw on the side controls the rpm of the engine as it opens and closes the slide as you screw it in or out, the A/F screw adjusts the mixture, lean / rich for idle.
