Hi from winter haven,fl
Hey, Its great to have such a resource on the net, I hope I can help someone out as much as Ive already been helped out here. Being semi-retired (my hours have been drastically cut) Ive more time than money and attracted to cheap, reliable transportation. My used 07 hi-bird will be ok when I get all the bugs worked out(mostly wiring).
The bird reminds me of my 3rd bike, a new suzy ts250, I rode it hard and it had a tendency to rattle apart. Anyway, its good to be here. Jack |

Welcome! I hope you enjoy riding in Florida this winter. The temperatures in Idaho are currently reaching lows in the single digits, and it will get much colder before it gets warmer. :(
Riding the mountain trails in the Idaho summertime is beautiful. However, at higher elevations, winter arrives early, and summer comes late. The following pictures were taken this year in mid-October, at 8,600 feet above sea level. Until spring arrives, I will be limited to taking short trips into town, whenever the roads are free from snow and ice. We will do our best to help you get your bike running. Please let me know you are having fun riding, so I can enjoy it vicariously. Spud

Thanks for the warm Hello, Winters in fl are generally fantastic for riding.
I was raised in central Ore, so I know about riding in the snow. It was a blast when I was 20 or so but now I appreciate warmer riding weather. Hopefully it wont take too long to get the bugs worked out of my used bike and some mods done to make it more personalized to my taste. Thanks again, and good riding - Jack |
