Hi from Cali

Hi all,
Recently bought a CA plated 2006 Shineray 200XYi with 620km on the clock, nice cheap transportation.
Just getting into doing some mods to it and found this place. Looks like there is a good amount of info here.
I’ll be busy searching and asking questions…

Al

You are from one of the prettiest places in the country. Enjoy. Wish I took that job in Paso Robles last year... :?

Southeast desert. Tri-Cities. Where on the CC are you? I'm from the Bay Area, and Sonora. God I miss that place. Happy here but it's no Kalifornia.

Welcome! We are very glad to have you join us. If you get the chance, please post some photographs of your bike; we love photos.

I attended the University of Idaho, in Moscow, so I am well familiar with Spokane. I frequently traveled to the "Lilac City" whenever I wanted some "big town" excitement. Spokane is a beautiful city.

Thanks for posting the photographs. That is a nice motorcycle, and a nice dog.

Great photos! I love taking my dog riding. Does your dog mind the noise?

he doesnt mind the bike noise at all.
we have two dogs, the shep "Blitz" (2 1/2) above, and a rotty, "Harley" (2).

the shep will follow me on my bike (CRF450X) all day long if he could.
the rotty just stares at us and has that look of "you dumb $#!t, you know he's going to ride back to camp..."

here I am with a ice cold Sam Adams after a long day of trail riding, with our other pup "Harley"

I take Blitz out running with the Shine early in the morning and late in the evening when all the other riders are back in their camps.
It's a time we both look forward to

My idiot shepherd runs right in front of the damn bike. Almost hit him numerous times. He gets so damn excited though, the noise cranks him up. I wish he would 'get it' and stay behind me but he doesn't seem to learn, so, no riding for him.
