Hello, bought Sabre Cat 200 Trike
I bought a Sabre Cat 200 Trike from a US seller recently. I did not go thru the Alibaba routine even though I save some money because I don't understand the register the scooter thru DOT and didn't want to bother either. I'm here to see what mods people have done to their Chinese scooters, as the trike I am getting is limited to 55 mph.

They are intriguing bikes. I actually had a business idea in the back of my head when I was living in California of renting them out since they are California CARB legal, and three wheelers can be ridden with a regular driver's license making them attractive for tourists (and there are many intrastate tourists). But, Chinese quality (waaay better than it used to be and probably better than many other current scooters still) made me rethink the idea. Not to mention how litigious everyone seems to be there...one accident or something bad that isn't even my fault, and I am sued for millions. No thanks!
