Am I the only that doesn't reach the floor comfortably? I'm 5 foot 10. Any tips on being able to put both feet flat on the floor ? Lol

I think 2LZ bought something to lower the seat on a TT250 for his wife.

I've been looking at the Hawk.I am 5'8"with a 28/29 inch inseam.I can barely ride my CB500X at 30.8 inch seat height.I am thinking that I may go 17 inch rear rim and tires with an 18 or 19 inch front rim and tires. That should give me a couple inches and then shave down and reshape the seat.I think I can get it down to a 31 inch seat height without lowering the suspension.I need all the suspension travel I can get.

If the suspenion is set correctly the bike should
sink 1/3 of it's suspenion travel under your weight... I don't know how much travel the Hawk has but I would guess it shold drop around 80mm under your weight...

The Hawk has about 7 inches of travel on both ends. The part of the seat you sit is 35 inches high and then comes the raised back of the seat and rear fender. I'm 5' 10" and I have a 34 inch inseam and I can't get my right leg over the rear end when the bike is standing straight up. You have to tilt it and put your leg forward to the low spot.
I weigh 165 pounds and after I'm on it I am flat footed with both feet on the ground. I did name my bike Fat Bottom Girl for a reason.

the hawk has the potential for 8" travel, but id bet only 6 of it is used. the shock is too big and too stiff. i weigh 165, and have a 32" inseem. bike fits me perfectly now. I see no reason to ride a bike set up for a big heavy rider when you aren't. ya bought it for yourself right? |

This will give you a 2.25" lower seat height:
