i would appreciate some prayers...
hey guys, as you know i have moved to NY, and i am really having a hard time finding a job... its getting quite frustrating, both to me and to Danita... i covet your prayers that God would show me where He wants to use me, and give us the patience required to find that position..
thanks!!! |

Do you have a set of tools? Can you open a home-based small engine repair shop?

I am considering that option... downside is all my tools? sitting back in chicago...along with most all of the rest of my stuff... we dont even have a table and chairs for our kitchen (we are using a folding patio table and folding chairs from walmart) I have a beautiful clawfoot table and reupholstered 100+yr old marshall fields country french dining room chairs back in chicago...

bare minimum would be 1200mi worth of gas (round trip) and a uhaul trailer one way, to the tune of about $500 for the 6x12 trailer that may even be too small...

Have you investigated getting a trucking company to haul it? If they can use your stuff to fill a trailer, it might be economical.

I agree with weldangrind. I wish you the best at your new home. Focus on getting your tools and then do a home base small engine shop. I did this. Made alot of money and had many many happy customers. Did you say you moved to ny? Im from sayville Long island.
Now live in pensacola florida. |
