Hawk EFI DLX Or Lifan X-pect 200
Ok hate to ask but I'm stuck on what one .
I'm 5.7 190 lbs and will be riding in on the road mainly. I like the hawk from all the info from people and parts seem to be everywhere. The Lifan from what I found on the web it a better made bike but no rear disc brake and the seat high is lower . So and the end of the day what is the better dang for the buck. Don't let the rear drum brake stop you. Nothing wrong with drum brakes on the rear. The Lifan will be a better quality and will have a two year warranty. Also buy from a reputable dealer like Venom Motorsports. They will stand behind what they sell. Anyone that has bought from them will tell you the same.

I'll say it because Jerry didn't. Look at the KPX250. Read through Jerry's thread and the other threads on the KPX250. It's a bike I keep drooling over, but will likely never buy because I already invested in 3 TT250's. The KPX250 costs a little more, but you get A LOT more bike for the buck!

That's the big thing for me being short.lol.
And I haven't had a bike in 25 years so want something that fits really well. Really wish the Lifan had a rear disc. And I'm looking at Power Sports Max for the seller looks to be the best price. |

Can you buy a Seat Concepts seat for a TT250 and modify it to fit a KPX250? https://cscmotorcycles.com/tt250-seat-by-seat-concepts/

Snowy,
Check out Bashan bikes from Jeff at Peace Sports. Also, the Bashan Storm. counterbalanced 14hp engine, lower COMFORTABLE seat height, nice stiff inverted front forks. The Storm also has an excellent luggage rack. Once you find vendors and prices, go ahead and ask forum members about the bikes and the vendors. That is what we are good for (some people have blinders on, but you can usually tell) Honestly, none of us have bought more than one or two of any particular bike, and have limited experience with each vendor, but together, we have lots of knowledge! |

Snow11, I'm 5'11", but I have a 29" inseam. The Storm IMO is a great bike and is about the maximum height I'm comfortable with. I can ride it all day on and off road and it's very comfortable.

The Bashan Storm was #2 on my list.
I went with the TT250's in part due to the Seat Concepts seat. My wife is 5' 6" and can dang near flat foot her TT with that seat. It's also a blast for me to ride her bike because my center of gravity is lower and I can kick that bugger around like it's an extension of my body!!! I'm 6' 1" and 200 lbs without gear.
