bigger gas tank for gio

the fuel tank on my 2011 gio only holds .88 gal. what were they thinking? does anyone know where i can get a bigger tank? thanks in advance.

They were thinking their 250cc bikes were $750.00 ,no need for any fluff to raise the price up .Besides that ,the Gio bikes were very good for the money with mikuni carbs ,zongshen engines ,fast ace forks and a Showa rear shock .You should be good for 50 plus miles with a tank that size ,how far do you need to go on a bike you can’t legally ride on a road ?

Bruce the riding I do 80 miles is a short day he may be in the same boat, you can cover a lot of ground on forest roads.

Looking at a picture it doesn't look like a lot of options to mount an auxiliary tank, maybe a couple of MSR type fuel bottles mounted to the rear fender?
