Hello from Idaho, thanks to the group
Just received my new Hawk 250 last week. It took me a full day to assemble due to the fact I purchased some up grades with the bike. It came in good shape, the only problem I saw was the foot break spring stud under the bike was a little bent. I changed the oil before I started it and adjusted the valve lash and it started right up. Now my only issue is a flat tire on the rear wheel after just two short rides. Other than that the quality is good and it runs and looks great.
I would also like to thank this group. As I researched purchasing this bike, I was not sure whether to take the plung and buy it until I found this group. You all gave me enough confidence that I could do the wrenching myself and that the quality of the bike quit good, especially for what I will be using it for, a commuter bike. |

I'm in the Nampa, Idaho area and am trying to decide on either getting the Hawk or the Lifan KPX 250. Trying to justify the $1400 price difference. I read on the forum that the stock innertubes are very thin and it won't be long before you start having flats (which you've just confirmed) Where did you end up ordering your Hawk from?
