New Haojue designed by Suzuki
This article is confusing, so you can take it a few different ways.
-Looks like Suzuki no longer plans to build this particular DR300 design. -Haojue has decided to build this older DR300 design in China. -The design is reportedly not a dual sport, though it has "DR" in the model name. -It is based on the Suzuki GW250 street screamer. The little twin makes plenty of power, but the GW250 chassis is surprisingly heavy, as if intended for a middle weight bike. https://advrider.com/theres-a-new-su...-dr300-coming/

If it's sold with the Suzuki name at Chinese prices in North America they could have a real winner. I had a GW250 and didn't like it. Could barely do highway speed yet it was a liquid cooled and fuel injected. It was heavy for a 250 but still got blown around too easy, probably because of the huge tank and probably no wind tunnel testing. The price was closer to Japanese then Chinese but quantity was also closer to Japanese then Chinese. All that being said if the DR300 comes here at Chinese prices I'd be very interested.
