2023 lifan Xpect new rider

Hey y’all. New rider here. Just got bike less than a month ago. Got about 580 miles on it so far. Please feel free to give me any tips or advice. Main usage of bike will be commuting. Thinking of front sprocket change to 17t, upgrading chain to a good low maintenance chain, think the valves are due for adjustment. Have viewed some things on here and decided to go ahead and register so hi and thanks for what y’all posted I have read, all great stuff!!

Valve check and oil change should be done immediately when you get the bike.

Hopefully you already replaced the shipping oil with actual dinosaur oil. And the valves are often adjusted too tight from the factory.

the 17 tooth is a big improvement for a small amount of money. especially if you are a mostly road rider
