New member Hawk DLX 250 EFI

New member here!

Looking for any help with decat on an EFI bike? Anyone take the plunge? I did the air box mod without any issue? I worry about the EFI not dealing with it well and the lack of reflash for the Delphi ECU on the Hawk if i cut out the cat... Any words of wisdom would be great !

Welcome to the forum! The fastest way to tell if you'll have a problem is to look at the exhaust and locate the O2 sensor(s). If you only have one O2 sensor, and it's in front of the cat, you won't have any problems gutting it. If there are two O2 sensors, one in front and one downstream, you'll trip the check engine code and run in open loop all the time. I can't imagine these bikes having two O2 sensors, that's usually reserved for the higher-end BMW's and such. Let me know if you have any issues locating the O2 sensors.

Welcome aboard! I think you only have the one O2 sensor before the cat. The ECU should adjust to the changes on its own.
