2020 hawk early review
Had the hawk about a month now.upgraded the carb running a 110 main.is slightly rich with stock air box and exhaust am dropping to a 105 to try that.
Also did the sprocket upgrade 17/40 ,apparently they have heard about locktight there was so much on there is was all over everything, after rounding to of the nuts try to get off was able to replace the studs and reinstall.. Right off the bike ran great . Got almost 200 miles and almost every ride can feel the engine freeing up and gaining power. Will cruise 55 very easy now .I expect it to continue to improve. Did oil change before starting and a second change at about 50 miles. Oil looked good and screen was clean figuring on one more and then go to routine intervals. Overall the bike came in great shape, checked all the fasteners and balanced and greased axles and wheels. My opinion is for the money and the enjoyment of this bike is worth the money and would buy another. |

Thanks for the review. They are great values, especially, if you want to learn something about working on Motorcycles. Good to hear that PZ30 is running well!
