Been Away and Back Again - GIO ATV Coming

Hello Forum,

Haven't been around over the winter. I introduced myself late summer last year and have been busy riding my Yamaha YZ250F around.

I've just ordered a Gio Beast 110cc Quad for my daughter and have not received it yet. Thought I would get involved with the forum again before it arrives to get up to speed with everyone again.

Always wondering how others have fared with the Gio products and any tips on preventative measures I can take to ensure safety and longevity(possible??) of the new toy. I have heard loctite and bolt tightening anything else I should be wary of?

Welcome back, Turbo! Check out the ATV forum; we have a lot of Gio owners over there. Tightening bolts and applying locktite are good first steps to take upon assembling your new Gio. I am sure the Gio owners will have other suggestions for you as well.

Welcome. Yes Gio has become a major sponsor. (Only sponsor) This does not mean that we will hold back on them at all. We welcome unbiased reviews.

Please post in the atv forum. Others there will be glad to help with setup information. Take you time and go over it before riding. It will pay off for long term fun.

I am a new ATV owner, myself. Since I am a motorcycle rider safety instructor, I know the value of rider training. Therefore, I scheduled and completed a class with the ATV Safety Institute in March. This ATV safety class was superb, and I am very happy I took it.

I strongly encourage you to schedule your daughter to take the ATV safety class. If she is under 12, she can still enroll in the class; however, you must be present with her. Here is an even better idea; take the class with her! You won't be sorry you did.
