Question Flywing MX100

Hello, I recently (accidentally) purchased a 2004 Flywing MX 100 and it doesn’t run. I believe the issue is the stator. I was only getting about 12v from the stator and no spark. I’ve read that I should be getting more voltage than this from the stator and was planning on replacing it, however, I want to make sure I’m going down the righ path.

I’m not experienced with semi automatic transmissions and I’m concerned there is an issue with it. I don’t want to put any more money in this bike if there is an issue with the transmission. When I press the shifter it never seems to hit a top or bottom gear. With a manual transmission I know when I’ve gotten to neutral and I know when I’ve gotten to the to gear because it won’t shift past this, however, with this semi-automatic it just keeps clicking up and down. Does this mean it’s broken or is this normal for this type of transmission?

Also, does anyone have a manual for this bike or know where I can get one?

Thanks for your time!
