Ninja clone BD125-11 gt neutral issues

Okay so my bike has a little over 300 miles on it and runs and drives fine
But when down shifting it keeps wanting to go from third straight to neutral
Does anyone know if this is normal? Thanks!

I can't answer the question personally, but Pete, the owner of Kronik Racing is a kind of Boom Vader 125 guru, and since these use the same engine, would be able to answer you. www.kronikracing.com

Is the shift pattern 1dn-3up?

The ridge on the shift star between 2nd and neutral is much smaller than the ridge between 2nd and 3rd, making it easier for the shift actuator arm and detent arm to drop the drum into neutral when downshifting.

!!!UPDATE!!!
shorting the shift from 3-2 helped a lot
Also I noticed that the gear shift was loose so fixed
That and it shift perfect THANKS!
