Rosbys Rock Marshall County WV

Took the Hawk out today. Didn't go far, just get used to the new tires, having rear brakes that fully function and some time on a gravel road with the Kendas. I went to a historical place called Rosbys Rock. Took the following pictures.

"Rosbys Rock holds a special place in West Virginia’s history as the spot where the last spike was driven to complete the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad from Baltimore to the Ohio River, marking the first rail line linking the Atlantic coast to the Ohio Valley."

Remember, you don't stop doing things cause you get old, you get old cause you stop doing things.

Get yourself conditioned, then keep going.

it took me hitting the trails a bit last summer with my son-in-law to get my upper body used to it. hawks are not light. at least not for me!

If you think your Hawk is a handful, you ought to try out my KLR650. That giant bastard is every bit of 475 pounds when I have it full of fuel and loaded with all my junk.

By comparison, my Bashan (Hawk) and RXB feel like bicycles.
