Wow! The metal work on the tank and seat support/body/whatever it is, is most impressive! The rest is very "unique". I wonder why someone would want to build something like this though?

Because he can. And no one else has one. And looking at his location is probably a crazy dutchman that is most likely a distance relative of mine.

That is amazing craftsmanship. I'm fascinated by the concept of hydraulic drive.

Fluid is used for what the transmission? The engine is a diesel, what did he borrow it all from a skid loader a tractor? I can’t figure out the front steering? What is that some sort of single pinion? Its got allot going on.

I don’t know maybe he was an engineer for Pontiac and is now out of work….it does have a beak.

The drive is hydraulic. The diesel engine (yanmar tractor commonly found in John Deeres too.) turns a pump which pumps the hydraulic fluid to a hydraulic motor at the wheel.

It takes some power to turn hydraulic pumps. I am sure that yanmar is up to the task though.

I didn't look at the steering so I can't comment there.

When I looked at the "bike" done, Styx immediately started playing in my head..."Too much time on my hands, I've got too much time on my hands"...
