Jetmoto sidestand

I did a search but was unable to find this info..

Has anyone repositioned their side stand either by cutting the stop or bending the bracket..or?

This one sticks out and hangs down when up.. and imo could be dangerous.

Thanks in advance!! :?:

I found my side stand held the bike too vertical, which made it unstable on uneven ground. I bent the bracket so the bike leaned over more when on the stand. Dont try to bend it cold, I see the weld snaping, use plenty of heat.

the easiest way to apply heat is to do it step by step:

1. get yourself 3-5 gallons of gas
2. get some matches
3. pour gas liberally onto chinabike
4. light match and toss onto chinabike smothered in gas
5. sidestand is no longer a problem

j/k giving out terrible advice....

you could also take the side stand off and put it in a vice, then blowtorch it and wail on it with a BFH. i think it may be better to bend the stand then the mounting point on the bike....
