I spent the 4th in WA State, camping at my favourite spot. I spent Canada Day there, as well.

Soon to be Raspberry jam.
 From the single bush in my back yard. And there are probably three more of these waiting to ripen. My city born and bred wife picked about a 1/2 cup before it was 'too buggy, too hot, too humid, too pokey and too stabby before she went back into the house. I got the rest. Looks like I may need a ladder to reach the top of this monster bush. I guess I shouldn't complain too much about Mrs. C, she has been making some killer jam this summer. She may have found her post retirement gig.

A locally distilled whiskey.
 Not single malt good, but better than most blended whiskeys. Pretty good stuff coming from a family owned apple orchard.

That reminds me of Bellewood Acres in WA State (about 20 mins from my place). They have an amazing selection of spirits that they produce, including amazing gin and vodka flavours. They also have a wonderful variety of food products, like honey roasted peanut butter. http://www.bellewoodfarms.com/

The youngster that works for me did this free hand rendering of a 49 Merc leadsled.
 Less than a year ago, I taught him how to use a double acting airbrush for stencil work. I've been doing airbrush stuff for nearly forty years and I still can't do this. His Doodle Board.
